Ford GT40 1st Le Mans 1968 #9 Rodriguez/Bianchi by Marsh Models
Ford GT40 1st Le Mans 1968 #9 Gulf
Kit available MM247
Le Mans was the most famous victory for the Gulf Wyer team’s lead chassis, 1075, but it was Rodriguez and Bianchi at the helm rather than the regular Ickx and Redman. As with the other ten hand builts in this batch, the model is finished to Marsh’s usual high standards with a deep gloss finish but ironically, being the most photographed of the bunch, there is a small decal error on the driver’s side which has a simple number roundel on the door but not the second rectangular backing over it that was on the car.

About Marsh Models
Well established maker of high quality 1:43 kits and hand-built models. Kits feature very precisely moulded resin bodies requiring minimal clean up, equally good white metal ancillary parts, very fine photo-etching where necessary, machined wheel rims, bespoke resin tyres and clearly printed decals. Instructions usually a clearly drawn exploded diagram and often include a sample paint chip if the main body colour is an unusual one. Hand-builts beautifully built and detailed, usually from a series of 100 pieces but LE range typically from only 25. Made in England
