Ferrari 512S Le Mans 1970 #8 Merzario/Regazzoni by Marsh Models
Kit available MM298 Alternative versions MM298M6 #6 Giunti/Vaccarella & MM298M7 #7 Bell/Peterson
Ferrari's entry for the 1970 Le Mans race was one of the strongest ever seen a dozen 512s taking the start split between the factory (4 cars) and several private teams. This is one of the factory machines and, like so many of the grid in a rain hit event, it failed to finish, Regazzoni crashing as the rains came a couple of hours in. Marsh's hand built model is finished to the customary very high standard and matches photos from the beginning of the race well. The castings are crisp, there are plenty of fine details and the model is from an edition of 100 numbered pieces.

About Marsh Models
Well established maker of high quality 1:43 kits and hand-built models. Kits feature very precisely moulded resin bodies requiring minimal clean up, equally good white metal ancillary parts, very fine photo-etching where necessary, machined wheel rims, bespoke resin tyres and clearly printed decals. Instructions usually a clearly drawn exploded diagram and often include a sample paint chip if the main body colour is an unusual one. Hand-builts beautifully built and detailed, usually from a series of 100 pieces but LE range typically from only 25. Made in England
