Supermarine S6 1929 1:32 by Marsh Models Aerotech
In the 1929 Scheider trophy Race
the Supermarine S6 of Waghorn not
only shattered the course record but
also completed the race distance at
an average speed almost ten percent
faster than the standing World Air
Speed Record. The kit parts are cleanly
cast, with just a little flash to remove but
this is a kit for the more experienced
modeller. Due to the nature of the
machine modelled there are plenty of
bracing struts and wires that will need to be fitted and this is delicate work. The
pictures of the finished model show that it should all work well though.
