Cisitalia 33DF Voloradente 1954 Beige by Matrix
/Blue
The 33DF was the last model produced by Cisitalia and like many before, it was based on Fiat mechanical parts (DF - Derivata FIAT). In the case of this small coupe, the complete floorpan from the Fiat 1100/103. With Cisitalia’s own engine tuning almost doubling the output of the original engine and the lightweight aluminium body, performance was lively! The car modelled is one of three known survivors from around fifteen cars made and the details are correct for the car as it appeared at auction in 2013. The pale blue roof and beige lower body contrast pleasingly and the paint masking between the two colours is very precise. The shape of the car looks good and the small amount of exterior trim is neatly applied including the extremely fine window frames.

About Matrix
From the original creators of the Neo range, this resincast series offers a wide range of mostly road car subjects. Some are very familiar classics but we also see plenty of very rare and usual machines ranging from Maharajah's Rolls Royces to Citroen and Volvo limousines! Overall casting quality is excellent, paint finishes usually to a very high standard and plenty of fine etch used for small trim. Wire wheels on some subjects can be a little unconvincing but otherwise very consistent. Made in China.
