Land Rover Tickford Green/Green by Oxford
Soon after the launch of the original Land Rover, coachbuilder Tickford came up with a rather more comfortable option with their station wagon. 641 were built, the vast majority for export, but a few wealthy individuals ordered them for use on their country estates. the car modelled is one of the few survivors, recently acquired by the Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon. The shape of the modle looks good and it is finished in a very subtle two-tone green.

About Oxford
Traditional diecast models, mostly of historic British vehicles. Overall shapes and paint finishes usually excellent. Some of the smaller detailing such as wipers can be a little heavy and wire wheels are sometimes replicated with printed acetate discs. Price point is very low, so something has to give and with a few accessories they make excellent models. Made in China for the UK.
