Humber Pullman Limousine King George by Oxford
VI
We’re used to seeing the current Queen being transported in Rolls Royce and Bentley cars, but previous monarchs have favoured other British quality marques such as Daimler, Lanchester and Humber. This car was apparently used by Elizabeth’s father King George VI and in plain black would have made for fairly low key transportation. As with previous Humber releases from Oxford, the shape looks pretty good and the finish is excellent.

About Oxford
Traditional diecast models, mostly of historic British vehicles. Overall shapes and paint finishes usually excellent. Some of the smaller detailing such as wipers can be a little heavy and wire wheels are sometimes replicated with printed acetate discs. Price point is very low, so something has to give and with a few accessories they make excellent models. Made in China for the UK.
