Jaguar Mk7 Silverstone 1952 #30 Moss by Oxford
Jaguar Mk7 1st Silverstone 1952 #30 Moss
LWK 343 was a very hard working Jaguar competition car, taking parts in numerous races, rallies and even speed record attempts through the early 1950s. Moss drove it to victory in successive years at Silverstone and here we see the first of those winners. The overall shape of the car looks pretty good and the finish is to a decent standard but the detailing is mixed. Some parts are very clumsy, such as the windscreen wipers, and the small vents in the front wings have been missed but other parts like the rear boot handle/number plate light are very well done.

About Oxford
Traditional diecast models, mostly of historic British vehicles. Overall shapes and paint finishes usually excellent. Some of the smaller detailing such as wipers can be a little heavy and wire wheels are sometimes replicated with printed acetate discs. Price point is very low, so something has to give and with a few accessories they make excellent models. Made in China for the UK.
