In terms of shape, this does a decent job of replicating the first four-seater built in house at Lotus. Some of the detailing, such as the windscreen wipers and thickness of the windows is a little heavy handed, but other parts like the wheels are excellent. The caramel colour (officially called Bahama yellow) is rather unusual but looking online we have found two cars painted this shade, one bearing the registration seen on the model, so it’s authentic!

About Oxford
Traditional diecast models, mostly of historic British vehicles. Overall shapes and paint finishes usually excellent. Some of the smaller detailing such as wipers can be a little heavy and wire wheels are sometimes replicated with printed acetate discs. Price point is very low, so something has to give and with a few accessories they make excellent models. Made in China for the UK.
