Maserati 250F 1955 Chassis 2508 by Renaissance
With Moss driving for Mercedes in 1955, his Maserati 250F was driven by a number of different drivers through the year. This kit offers three distinct options, all of which wore different liveries. The car was initially painted pale grey and Hawthorn drove it in this form. At the British GP Lance Macklin was at the helm and for this race the car wore white stripes over the grey and for John Fitch at Monza it was repainted in American white and blue. We’ve seen so many versions of this kit over the years that we know that it will build well whichever option you choose and the colours along with the Dunlop disc wheels will make it stand out.

About Renaissance
Excellent kits and conversion sets (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Classic subjects (REN43 refs) are relatively simple builds, while the Integral series (RENI) of more modern subjects are a little more complex. Made in France
