Ferrari 250 GTO Le Mans 1962 Serenissima by Renaissance

Ferrari 250 GTO LM 1962 Serenissima - kit
Hand built available REN4362-18M58
This early GTO was originally delivered to Autosprint magazine publisher Conti and was subject of the first journalists road-test of the type before quickly passing to Count Volpi and his Serenissima team. Even before the Le Mans race the nose was adjusted slightly to recess the side lights and the specific body details for Le Mans are all correct on the clean main casting. The car can be replicated as a simple kerbside model, or for the more adventurous there are additions doors included should you wish to open the body up. Some race photos show the D vents on the nose covered, while others have them open and etched parts are supplied as an option.

About Renaissance

Excellent kits, hand-built models and accessories (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Classic subjects (REN43 refs) are relatively simple builds, while the Integral series (RENI) of more modern subjects are a little more complex. Beautiful hand built models too. Made in France
