BMW M3 4th Tour De Corse 1988 #1/9 Bastos/Motul 1:24 by Renaissance

BMW M3 Tour de Corse 1988 Bastos/Motul 1:24
Renaissance’s M3 rally car kit first appeared back at the end of 2003 and there have been several variants since. The parts are well cast with just a small amount of flash to remove and there’s a good level of cockpit detail both in resin and among the several photo-etch sheets which also include plenty of exterior finishing touches. The decals this time offer two options with a pair of near identical cars driven by Francois Chatriot (4th) and Bernard Beguin (7th) on the Tour de Corse. The decal is also available as a separate set should you prefer to use a plastic kit as a base. Whichever route you choose, a two-tone paint finish will be needed and this is simplified with the inclusion of red decal for the rear pillars and a white panel for the back edge of the bonnet.

About Renaissance

Excellent kits and conversion sets (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Classic subjects (REN43 refs) are relatively simple builds, while the Integral series (RENI) of more modern subjects are a little more complex. Made in France
