Porsche 934 Le Mans 1976 #70 Citizen by Renaissance
Entered by the very experienced Belgian racer Jean Blaton (“Buerlys”), this Charles Ivey run Porsche had the dubious distinction of being the last car running at Le Mans in 1976, too far back to be classified following various mechanical issues. Renaissance’s kit is typically well cast in resin with just a few feed tags and some light flash to clean off before painting. The bumpers and engine cover are separate pieces, which will simplify painting of the blue bumpers and white body, and the clearly printed decals include the red/orange bonnet stripe. The ancillary parts are the usual Renaissance mix of machined wheels, excellent photo-etch and clear vacformed windows.

About Renaissance
Excellent kits and conversion sets (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Classic subjects (REN43 refs) are relatively simple builds, while the Integral series (RENI) of more modern subjects are a little more complex. Made in France
