BMW M1 Le Mans 1979 #76 Warhol by Renaissance
Having seen the decals some eighteen months ago and a pattern not long after, it’s been an impatient wait for this kit. Looking at the etch design we can see where quite a bit of the time must have gone and the area around the rear engine cover has been very well thought out and executed. The resin body that the parts all fit to is cleanly cast and well-proportioned and the more adventurous have the option of building this kit with open doors. The livery means that this is a model for those who like decaling, the whole model being wrapped over a white base coat, and with care it should look superb when done.

About Renaissance
Excellent kits and conversion sets (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Classic subjects (REN43 refs) are relatively simple builds, while the Integral series (RENI) of more modern subjects are a little more complex. Made in France
