Meyers Manx Buggy 1964 Red by Schuco - Pro.R
The design which launched hundreds of imitators over the decals thanks to the brilliant simplicity. California boat builder Bruce Meyers used his experience with fibreglass to create a lightweight off-road racer utilising VW mechanical parts and in 1964 had attracted sufficient attention with his project to be able to start marketing kits for enthusiasts to build at home. The car modelled here is one of the early originals as it stands today, complete with dummy gas cylinders as bumpers. Great fun and very well made in resin by Schuco, with plenty of neat detailing and a high level of finish.
