Audi R10 Le Mans 2009 #15 Kolles by Spark
With Audi moving on to their new R15 prototype, the previously dominant R10s passed into private hands and Kolles Racing had a pair of them for Le Mans. The decoration of the car was quite simple with a dark silver main body colour and vivid orange flashes. The main paint finish on the model is excellent and those orange sections are neatly applied as decals though the decals do hide some of the finer cast in details on the body. There are plenty of small etched parts for the rear wing, side vents and canard fins and the rear wing is finished in a carbon fibre effect.

The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars.
