Lola Mazda Le Mans 2009 #39 KSM by Spark
Entered by Kruse-Schiller Motorsport and driven by Hideki Noda, Jean de Pourtales and ex-GPM staffer Matthew Marsh, this Lola LMP2 car had a troubled race at Le Mans with clutch and exhaust issues to contend with and eventually retiring with an oil fire on the Sunday afternoon. It was a colourful machine with plenty of sponsorship and the decoration has been carefully applied with the white and orange panels painted and the blue applied as decals. There's plenty of fine etched detail and it all adds up to make an attractive model.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
