Lola T70 Mk3 6th BOAC 500 1968 #2 Bonnier by Spark
Lola T70s were raced by many private teams in the late 1960s and one of the quicker cars was owned and run by Sweden's Jo Bonnier. The yellow machine enjoyed mixed results and at Brands Hatch finished a creditable sixth overall, fellow Swede Sten Axelsson sharing driving duties. This is a well documented race and the model looks very good with excellent paint, just the right stance and all of the small decals carefully placed. At the rear we see the spare wheel hidden under the bodywork and there is a fair amount of etch used.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
