Chevrolet Corvette C6.R Le Mans 2009 #72 Alphand/Gregoire/Goueslard by Spark
The two Luc Alphand entered Corvettes looked very similar to each other at Le Mans, though they enjoyed rather mixed fortunes, the lead #72 car crashing out at 10pm on the Saturday after tangling with one of the Aston Martins, while the #73 car finished second in class. Both models are generally well finished and the decorations match race photos well for the most part, though one or two of the small decals are not quite straight on the #72. Nothing major to worry about.

The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable.
