The lack of a rear wing when we open the box for this model certainly makes the car look very different, accentuating just how compact the chassis was. The wing is packed separately as it is quite a sizable structure and with relatively delicate mounting points wouldn’t survive transit. The main mounts are fine etched blades which fit into slots in the rear bodywork. It will rest in place but it is advisable to apply a small amount of white glue (MSKK) to make a more permanent fixing. Once complete it makes for a very striking model and will sit well in any 1:18 Le Mans winner collection.
