Aston Martin DB3 2nd Sebring 12hrs 1953 #30 Parnell/Abecassis by Spark
The start list for the third running of the Sebring 12 Hours was dominated by domestic entries but there was one foreign infiltrator in the top ten at the end of the race with Reg Parnell and George Abecassis bringing their factory Aston Martin home second overall, a lap down on the winning Cunningham. The simple shape of the car is smartly recreated with crisp panel engraving and carefully placed detailing over a fine metallic paint finish. The non-finishing sister machine of Collins & Duke is also available to complete the team.

The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable.
