Lola B11/40 Le Mans 2011 #39 Pecom by Spark
Having retired from rallying in 2008, Argentine driver Luis Perez-Companc turned his hand to sportscar racing and in 2011 entered a P2 class Lola, sharing driving with fellow Argentine Matias Russo and former LM GT class winner Pierre Kaffer. The car retired from the race in the early hours of Sunday morning when Russo crashed. Decoration for the race was very simple with satin black and silver separated by a red flash and minimal sponsorship (the Companc family are one the wealthiest in Argentina) and Spark’s model replicates the colour scheme and the shape of the car well.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
