Zytek 09SC Le Mans 2011 #20 Quiffel by Spark
The Portuguese ASM team had enjoyed a decent level of success in LMP2 and for 2011 stepped up to LMP1 with a more powerful engine and revised bodywork on their Zytek chassis. Sadly their success didn’t stay with them and the engine started showing signs of sickness within three hours of the race start and they were forced to retire. It’s a good looking car with a simple but effective livery and the decoration is neatly replicated on Spark’s model. Paintwork is up to the usual high standard and there’s plenty of subtle carbon decalling, much of which is only visible if the light catches the model in the right way, which is exactly as it should be.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
