Aston Martin Vantage Le Mans 11 #60 Gulf by Spark
With the embarrassing performance of the works prototypes and engine failure for the Jota GT Pro car on Saturday evening, Aston Martin’s honour rested on this car in the GT Am class and in the early stages of the race it did well, leading the class into the darkness. Sadly it wasn’t to last as a series of ‘offs’ befell the gentlemen drivers, the car finally crashing heavily in the Karting Esses just after half distance. The model matches photos of the undamaged car pretty well and the overall finish is to the usual high Spark standards. The rear wing on our sample looks as if it is drooping slightly at the ends, but otherwise all is good.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
