Lola AER Le Mans 2010 #19 Autocon by Spark
This Lola was run by the very experienced Hugh Chamberlain and had first raced way back in 2006. It seems that age hadn’t been kind to the car and it was consistently down near the bottom of the overall times during the practice sessions. In the race things weren’t any better and it failed to complete a single lap, the gearbox giving up near Arnage. The car was almost entirely devoid of sponsorship which makes for a nice clean model and one that is a little unusual among modern machinery. Spark’s paint finish is excellent and the few decals that are required are neatly fitted.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
