There were plenty of visually interesting cars racing at Le Mans in 2010 and following in a similar vein as the year before, OAK Racing’s pair of LMP2 Pescarolos appeared in raw carbon fibre with shocking pink highlights. The models are finished in satin black where the real cars were carbon and the pink sections are applied as good solid decals. They certainly stand out and both cars did fairly well in the race being classified second and fourth in LMP2 and seventh and ninth overall, #35 leading #24 home.

The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable.
