Talbot Lago 2500 Coupe T14LS 1955 by Spark
Similar in style to the larger T26 Grand Sport of the same era, the four cylinder T14 is easiest identified externally by its sliding side windows and large vents in the flanks. Talbot factory records were vague at best in the 1950s but it is believed that 54 examples of this stylish coupe were built. Spark’s model captures the shape well and the etched side window runners are particularly neat. The wheels are not great on our sample, the centre caps being rather haphazardly applied on what is an otherwise smartly finished model.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
