HRT F1-10 Brazil 2010 #20 Klien by Spark
The first two models of the HRT released by Spark sold out before we even had a chance to review them for Four Small Wheels, so if you wanted the Senna or Chandok versions you really should have pre-ordered. Test driver Yamamoto took over from Chandok from Germany onwards but the car was still at the back of the grid. The Japanese himself was replaced for the last two races of the season by the experienced Christian Klien but again the car stayed at the back, showing that it was not the drivers to blame! The two models here are similarly detailed and both have excellent finishes with fine metallic paint, clearly printed decals and fine photo-etch and there are a couple of tiny differences in sponsorship between the races along with the obvious drivers’ names on the sides

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
