Sauber C29 Brazil 2010 Heidfeld by Spark
With regular driver Pedro de la Rosa being released from his race contract with Sauber to work as test driver for Pirelli, another safe experienced pair of hands was needed and Nick Heidfeld took over the race seat, himself having to be released by Mercedes as their test driver. Curiously Spark have chosen to model his car from Brazil, where he finished a lowly seventeenth, though he did score points in the previous two events. The car ran with very little sponsorship and the model matches race photos pretty well with plenty of fine detail for wings and suspension.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
