McLaren MP4/26 1st Hungary 11 Button by Spark
Jenson Button celebrated his two hundredth Grand Prix start in Hungary and he capitalised on changeable weather conditions to win his second race of the season. Hamilton’s German race win was a little less dramatic but strategy still played a part, a flawless performance being rewarded with the top step of the podium. Both cars are modelled on slick tyres as they were at the end of the races and we see the high downforce wings neatly modelled. As usual there is plenty of etch for end-plates etc and a well finished driver figure.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
