Sauber C31 Monaco 2012 Kobayashi by Spark
Also available SPK3033 Perez Malaysia
When we looked at the Perez car a couple of issues ago we were concerned with the amount of droop on the front suspension and subsequently the ride height. This is much better and the rest of the fit and finish is up to Spark’s usual high standards. Monaco is a slightly odd race to model Kobayashi’s car from though, as he was involved in a first corner melee and, having pitted under the safety car for repairs, retired due to rear suspension damage within a couple of laps.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
