HRT F112 Monaco GP 2012 Karthikeyan by Spark
HRT F112 Monaco 2012 Karthikeyan
The Monaco Grand Prix was the highlight of the troubled HRT F1 team’s 2013 season in terms of finishing position, with Karthikeyan managing to bring his car home fifteenth overall, though his was the last car running! Several cars were eliminated in first lap pile up, the sister car of De La Rosa among them. Spark has replicated the liveries of the cars well and the simple decoration is neatly applied. To add a little more interest they have gone for different coloured tyre lettering but they’ve got this the wrong way around. De La Rosa’s brief race run was on the red super-soft tyres, while Karthikeyan used these early on and then finished on the yellow soft compound.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
