The completion of the new race track outside Austin, Texas was fairly late before the US Grand Prix but what a facility and the race was pretty good too. Hamilton eventually managed to nip past Vettel to take the lead when they were lapping traffic to take his third victory of the season. The title sponsorship on the McLaren was unique in America, with Vodafone replaced with local branding Verizon. Otherwise the model is very similar to the previous 2012 McLarens that we’ve already seen, with a decent chrome body finish and vividly printed decals.
