Citroen DS3 WRC Monte 2012 #2 Hirvonen by Spark
For 2012 Citroen have changed from having event specific roof decoration to designs showing the nationality of the driver, so here we see a nice crisp Finnish flag on the roof for Hirvonen’s first outing in the car and for Loeb the same stylised Tricoleur seen during the previous year’s Monte and Rally France. We see decent finishes for the white and blue paint, the rest of the livery being neatly applied as clearly printed decal, and overall the models match event photos.

Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable.
