The Spice SE86C was a good looking machine and in terms of shape Spark has done an excellent job of capturing the car here. The layout of the decoration also matches race photos very well with the sponsorship all clearly printed and carefully placed. Where we have a big question mark is the colour of the rear of the car. On the model it is painted in a coral colour but in nearly every photo that we have found, either in print or online, it looks very much like a bright red.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars.
