Lola Judd Le Mans 2012 #30 Status by Spark
Although the Lotus backed car was entered as having a Lotus engine, it was in fact the same specification Judd unit as in the Status car. The Status machine ran with raw carbon fibre bodywork lifted by vivid dayglo green stripes, the black being a satin finish on the model. The Lotus car was in a traditional black and gold with some of the rear deck panels unpainted and this makes for an interesting contrast of textures on the model. Decal placement looks good on both when compared with race photos and it’s interesting to see subtle differences in the amount of downforce on the two cars.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
