Oreca 03 Le Mans 2012 #45 Boutsen by Spark
2012 marked the debut of Boutsen Ginion Racing at Le Mans, though the team had plenty of experience and success in national competition both in France and their native Belgium. The model is well finished in satin black and pale orange with accurately placed sponsorship but we do have a question over the orange chosen. From race photos the colour changes significantly depending on light and we suspect could be a fluorescent. It should certainly be stronger.

The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars.
