Porsche 911 RSR Le Mans 2012 #55 JWA by Spark
A new team at Le Mans in 2012 was the JWA-Avilia outfit, better known for running historic race cars but enjoying a full season in the WEC with an ex-Flying Lizard Porsche RSR. They started the race last and were last classified finishers too, but had done rather better during the course of the 24 hours, losing out with a few problems on the Sunday that dropped them steadily backwards again. The decoration on the car is relatively simple with a black tail on the white car separated by orange and silver stripes and with more orange on the roof. It’s all neatly done on Spark’s model and adds some different colours to the familiar Porsche Le Mans entries of recent years.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
