Lola B12/80 Le Mans 2013 #28 Gulf Racing
Having had a two car entry in 2012, Fabien Giroix’s Gulf Racing Middle East team ran a single Lola at Le Mans in 2013. With Giroix and Haezebrouck there was plenty of experience and the third driver was Japanese driver Keiko Ihara making her second appearance in the race. The team no longer had sponsorship from the similarly named oil company so the car appeared in a smart blue and silver livery with predominantly red sponsorship logos. Spark has replicated the livery very well and the decals are all neatly placed. The car retired after just twenty two laps.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars.
