Porsche 997 Carrera Cup 2008 Sofrev by Spark
This very limited edition miniature has been produced exclusively for the French market but we have been lucky enough to get hold of a handful of examples. The car is the celebrity entry from the French Porsche Cup and is modelled here as it was driven by the French national football team's goalkeeper, Fabien Barthez. We've not found any results but it does appear that the transition from grass to tarmac wasn't completely smooth with two different accidents happening during the season for this pretty car.

The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
