Saleen S7R FFSA GT 2009 #4 Team Tarres by Spark
This is one of those model subjects that just had us saying 'Wow!' when we first saw it. We've drawn a blank on which round of the FFSA series that the car is modelled from and don't know how it did, but frankly we don't care! It looks fabulous! The basic shape of the Saleen looks good and through the rear window we see a fair level of engine detail, with more visible through the fine mesh in the tail. The bodywork is finished in a dark charcoal grey metallic and this is the perfect backdrop for the white and dayglo orange decals. One for the cabinet purely because it's so pretty.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
