Porsche 911 GT3RS Pikes Peak 2014 #911 Dumas by Spark
Porsche 911 GT3RS Pikes Peak 2014 Beltoise
Romain Dumas came close to winning Pikes Peak outright in 2012 with his rally derived Porsche GT3 RS but with Loeb’s 2013 run proving that the fully paved course was now best suited to a full on prototype, Dumas switched machinery and his Porsche passed to rising star Vincent Beltoise to run in the Time Attack class, which he duly won! The car is very similar to those still used in the R-GT class of European rallies and bodywork wise is close to the GT3 road car. The decoration is all neatly applied on the model, which matches race photos well and is presented in special Pikes Peak packaging.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
