Peugeot 908 HDI-FAP 1st Zhuhai 1000kms 2010 #2 Montagny/Sarrazin by Spark
While most of the modern prototype racers that we see modelled are from Le Mans, the teams are busy all year round with the various Le Mans series and here we see the works Peugeot of Montagny and Sarrazin modelled as they won in China. The livery is very similar to that from Le Mans with just a couple of local changes and these are well observed, The overall standard of finish is very good with vibrant paint colours and neat application of the chrome effect roof.

The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars.
