Aston Martin DBR9 GT Tour 2011 #009 by Spark
The GT Tour is the name used for the French GT Championship for the past couple of years and here we see the two cars of the LMP Motorsport team from the 2011 season. Neither car finished particularly high up the standings and best results during the season were a third place for the 007 machine and fourth for 009. Both are colourfully decorated but it is the 007 that wins for us here with most of the car finished in raw carbon with white and shocking pink highlights. The finish of both models is good, with neatly applied decals and decent paint.

The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars.
