Ferrari 212 Weekend Marzotto 1952 by Tron
The hand built version of these parts
shows that the kit will build a nice
enough model, but looking at the
castings you will have a little work to do.
It’s a fairly simple kit but there is quite a
lot of flash to remove and a few heavy
feed tags too. While you’ve got the
scalpel and files out, one of two of the panel lines on our sample kit also needed
a little cleaning out. The etched grille will need gently shaping so that it is domed
in the centre, but that’s the only tricky bit. The windows are (now familiar from
Tron) printed frames on pre-cut acetate and fit neatly onto the model.
