Alpine A108 1964 by AxelR
Alpine unveiled their A108 at the Paris
motorshow in 1959, with the production
models first appearing in 1960 and
being produced until 1963 when the
car was replaced by the extremely
successful A110. The styling is quite
similar to the later car and Axel’R look
to have captured the shape well. The
main kit parts are cleanly cast and the body is evenly painted in typical Alpine
metallic blue. The interior parts and undertray are unpainted resin and the wheels
are in white metal, while there are etched parts for the side window frames, rear
grille, wipers and trims.

About AxelR
Reasonably accurate resin/metal kits that are simple to build and use a small amount of photo-etched detail. Please note that any old Four Small Wheels reviews that refer to painted kits are no longer valid. Painted kits are no longer available. Instructions very basic but usually include multi-view photos for placement of the excellent decals. Range includes many current 'historic' racers. Hand-built models offer excellent value for money. Made in France.
