As February draws to a close and March production schedules begin to take shape, another substantial wave of arrivals and forward announcements is upon us. This week sees a strong mix of resincast deliveries, hand built limited editions and active pre order windows, with some lines representing final available stock while others open for the very first time.

In wider motorsport news, the organisers of the 94th Le Mans 24 Hours have confirmed a full 62 car grid for 2026, though the Hypercar class will see a reduced field compared to last year. Porsche’s withdrawal from the top tier of the World Endurance Championship trims Hypercar entries to 18, down from 21 in 2025, subtly reshaping the fight at the front. Ferrari have meanwhile revealed the 2026 livery for the 499P, underlining their intent to remain firmly among the leading contenders. Over in Formula 1, pre season testing in Bahrain has generated unexpected headlines at Aston Martin. Former driver Ralf Schumacher has described the team’s start as a massive disaster and a total surprise, with reports suggesting the new Honda powered car, the first developed under Adrian Newey’s technical direction, is significantly off the pace, raising early season questions for the ambitious Silverstone outfit.

Against that backdrop, three standout releases this week span endurance heritage, F1 history and modern engineering philosophy. TrueScale’s Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R from the 2024 Sebring 12 Hours continues the marque’s long standing GT racing story. This Way Up’s finely detailed 1:43 Shadow DN8A kit commemorates Tom Pryce’s superb Dutch Grand Prix performance. Schuco’s Gordon Murray Automotive T50S Niki Lauda edition honours the three time World Champion through one of the most focused and technologically advanced track cars of the modern era.

Tom Pryce and the Shadow DN8A

The Shadow DN8A, reissued by This Way Up, holds a deeply significant place in Formula 1 history. Designed by Tony Southgate, it proved a capable and competitive midfield car in the hands of Tom Pryce, widely regarded as one of the most naturally gifted drivers of the 1970s. His fourth place finish at the 1976 Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort, represented by this model, remains one of his standout performances, combining measured control with outright pace and underlining his status as a rising star of the era. Pryce’s tragic death at the 1977 South African Grand Prix, aged just 27, lends any model connected to his career added poignancy, elevating this release beyond a simple Formula 1 subject into a meaningful tribute.

This Way Up, the hand finished division of Tameo, brings back this classic 1:43 resin and metal kit with the meticulous period detailing for which the brand is known. The DN8A’s sharp nose, wide sidepods housing the Ford Cosworth DFV and clean rear wing layout embody the straightforward but effective engineering of an ambitious independent team competing against larger operations. As is standard with Tameo, the decal set will also be available separately for those building from existing kits. Pre orders are now open and interest is expected to be strong.

Elsewhere, this week’s Formula 1 offerings span multiple eras. Cigale 43 presents the Jaguar R5 Test 2004 in Red Bull colours as a detailed 1:43 kit, reflecting a key transitional moment before Red Bull assumed full control of the team. Spark’s latest pre order list includes the Arrows A3 Argentina 1980 of Riccardo Patrese and the Tyrrell 003 Monaco 1971 winner of Jackie Stewart, both available with a 5 percent pre order discount. Tecnomodel confirms its 1:18 Ferrari F92A programme covering the 1992 cars of Jean Alesi and Ivan Capelli. Mini GT adds the Lotus 78 number 6 from the 1977 Japanese Grand Prix driven by Gunnar Nilsson in 1:64 scale, while Spark's DS Penske Gen3 Evo Formula E 2025 number 7 of Günther completes a week that offers genuine depth and variety for single seater collectors.

Corvette Racing at Sebring

TrueScale’s Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R release draws on one of endurance racing’s most established modern legacies. The Corvette programme has spent decades competing at America’s toughest circuits, and the Z06 GT3.R represents its latest chapter under contemporary GT3 regulations. Sebring remains one of the most punishing venues on the calendar, its concrete surface, heavy kerbing and variable Florida conditions creating a relentless twelve hour examination of durability and pace. The Corvette name has long been synonymous with resilience here, and the Z06 GT3.R continues that tradition with the purposeful engineering and competitive edge that define the marque’s GT efforts.

TrueScale’s 1:43 resincast model of the #4 Corvette Racing entry from the 2024 Sebring 12 Hours captures the car’s assertive stance and detailed GT3 aero package with impressive accuracy. It forms part of a broader TrueScale and TopSpeed arrival that also includes the sister #3 Sebring Corvette, the Porsche 911 GT3R #91 from the 2023 Daytona 24 Hours and the 2023 Lamborghini Revuelto in 1:43 scale, while TopSpeed adds the Corvette Z06 GT3.R #13 AWA from Daytona 2025 and the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 #93 Wall Racing from Bathurst 2024 in 1:18. Together they make for a particularly strong showing for contemporary GT collectors.

The endurance theme extends even further with Spark’s expansive pre order programme, covering landmark Le Mans, Daytona and international GT machinery across multiple eras. Among the highlights are the Jaguar C Type Le Mans 1953 winner of Hamilton and Rolt, the Porsche 917K #28 Buenos Aires 1971 of Fittipaldi and Reutemann, the Porsche 956 #18 Le Mans 1985, Ecurie Ecosse’s C285 and C286 from Le Mans 1986, numerous Porsche 356, 911, 934 and 935 Le Mans entries, McLaren F1 GTR racers from Le Mans and Suzuka, Chevron, Cougar and Callaway Corvette endurance cars, the BMW 3.0 CSL Spa 1973 winner and the R&S Mk3 Daytona winners. All are available to pre order with 5 percent discount but closing soon. Spark’s latest delivered shipment also brings the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro 2022 in metallic green and the DS Penske Gen3 Evo Formula E 2025 #7 of Günther into stock. Tecnomodel are releasing a 1:43 scale Can Am Ferrari 712 driven by Andretti, Jarier and Redman. BBR returns the Maserati MC12 #1 Vitaphone Spa 24 Hours 2008 winner in 1:64 as last available pieces, Mini GT supplies the 2024 Petit Le Mans winning Cadillac V Series.R #01, and Ixo expands its 1:18 endurance line up with Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo and Porsche 911 RSR, GT3 Cup and GT3R entries from DTM, Le Mans, Spa and ADAC GT Masters. A deeply layered and wide ranging week for endurance collectors at every scale.

Gordon Murray’s Tribute to Lauda

Schuco’s Gordon Murray Automotive T50S Niki Lauda edition celebrates the most extreme circuit evolution of one of the modern era’s most technically uncompromising supercars. Conceived from the same engineering philosophy that underpinned the McLaren F1, the T50 centres on a naturally aspirated V12 and innovative fan assisted ground effect system that produces downforce without reliance on oversized wings. The T50S sharpens that formula for track use with reduced weight, increased output and a far more aggressive aerodynamic configuration. Finished in metallic red, the Niki Lauda edition honours the three time World Champion whose close collaboration with Gordon Murray during the Brabham years led to the legendary BT46B fan car and a lasting personal connection between designer and driver.

Schuco’s 1:43 resincast interpretation captures the T50S’s purposeful proportions with crisp detailing, from the sculpted body surfaces to the prominent central fan housing and low, track focused stance. The Lauda tribute specification adds emotional depth, transforming the model from a contemporary hypercar replica into a piece that bridges modern engineering with historic Formula 1 legacy.

The broader road and heritage programme this week is equally busy. BBR unveils a comprehensively reworked 1:18 Ferrari Enzo featuring redesigned doors, soft touch seats, fabric belts, working suspension and a moveable rear spoiler, while BBR are also introducing new 1:43 Ferrari F80 colours, a 1:18 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale in matt carbon. Further BBR news is they are relasing a fresh limited run of the 1:18 Ferrari 458 Speciale Coupe and Spider. KK Scale confirms the 1:18 Lamborghini Islero S for April. KK Scale also adds new specifications to its 1:12 BMW M635 CSi and Ferrari 308GTS QV and opens pre orders for the 1:12 Porsche 911 GT2. Cult Scale Models prepares deliveries of several 1:18 classics including Aston Martin DB7 and Lagonda Series 4. Spark’s pre order list adds modern Aston Martin, Maserati, Porsche and Rimac road cars, while Tron introduces distinctive Alfa Romeo airboat and Ferrari 365 GTB4 Michelotti NART subjects. Mini GT contributes Bond favourites in 1:64 with the BMW 750iL from Tomorrow Never Dies and Lotus Esprit Turbo from For Your Eyes Only, alongside the Nissan Skyline Kenmeri Liberty Walk in matt black. A particularly strong week for collectors spanning contemporary hypercars, classic exotics and cinematic icons.

Whats Next?

Spark’s latest pre order programme stands as one of the most comprehensive forward announcements of the year, spanning Formula 1, Le Mans, rally and modern road car subjects, all offered with a 5 percent pre order discount but with ordering windows closing soon. Rally collectors are especially well catered for, with the Lancia Delta HF Integrale Tour de Corse entries and the Monte Carlo 1976 winning Lancia Stratos of Munari and Maiga among the headline releases. Ixo continues to expand its already extensive rally catalogue, covering events from Estonia and Saudi Arabia to Spa, Barum, Wallonia and Chile, alongside Dakar, Le Mans and road car subjects across multiple scales.

Tecnomodel’s Ferrari programme for Q3 gathers further momentum, adding the 1:43 Can Am Ferrari 712 raced by Andretti, Jarier and Redman to the 1:18 Ferrari F92A of Alesi and Capelli, the expanding Ferrari F40 race series and the established 512BB LM endurance line. KK Scale’s 1:12 Porsche 911 GT2 remains open for pre order in four colours with alternative wheel options, while Cult Scale Models prepares for the imminent arrival of its 1:18 Aston Martin DB7 i6 and Lagonda Series 4.

From early endurance pioneers and classic Formula 1 machinery to contemporary GT3 competition and tributes to motorsport legends, the range and depth of 2026’s collecting landscape continues to broaden. With March approaching and production schedules tightening, the flow of new releases shows no sign of slowing.
