It’s been a hugely busy week behind the scenes, with a constant flow of deliveries arriving from suppliers and an equally steady stream of models being packed and shipped out to collectors all over the world. With stock moving quickly through the warehouse, this edition of 4SW Weekly lands amid one of the most active periods of 2026 on both the supply and fulfilment fronts.
On track, Williams has become the final Formula 1 team to take to the circuit ahead of the 2026 campaign after skipping last week’s Barcelona running, while rally fans have been met with mixed news as the iconic Ouninpohja stage has been dropped from Rally Finland following an event itinerary revamp. Endurance racing continues to build momentum, with the Bathurst 12 Hour 2026 entry confirmed at 35 cars, including 31 GT3 machines — a welcome sign that grid strength is recovering after sparse fields in recent years.
On the collectors’ side, our three feature releases this week span the full breadth of the hobby: Spark’s Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo #10 from the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans, Spark’s Ford Focus #116 that delivered Ash Sutton’s dominant BTCC Donington victories, and Marsh Models’ March 83G Chevrolet from the Charlotte 500kms of 1984, representing modern endurance racing, contemporary touring-car excellence and classic IMSA-era prototype muscle in equal measure.
Endurance & GT — Racing Spirit at Le Mans
Spark’s Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo #10 from the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans captures the reality of modern LMGT3 racing, where survival, consistency and execution matter as much as outright pace. The Evo-spec Vantage is rendered with exceptional fidelity, from the re-profiled front splitter and revised brake-duct architecture to the subtly reshaped rear deck designed to improve stability over long stints. Spark’s finish emphasises the functional nature of the car: muted body tones, precise sponsor placement and a planted stance that reflects a machine settled into the rhythm of a full 24-hour contest. Representing the Racing Spirit of Léman entry driven by De Boer, Hasse-Clot and Barrichello, the model tells a story of endurance rather than headline results — a car that ran deep into the race and finished 13th in LMGT3, navigating traffic, night conditions and attrition. Fine detailing around the mirrors, cooling outlets and cockpit glazing reinforces the sense of realism, making this a highly authentic snapshot of Aston Martin’s current GT3 programme at Le Mans.
This endurance-led week is reinforced by a major Spark delivery spanning 2024 and 2025 competition. Highlights include the Alpine A424 #35 from Le Mans, multiple Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo entries, the Cadillac V-Series.R #311, and IDEC Sport’s Oreca 07, alongside a deep run of Porsche 911 GT3R models from the Nürburgring 24 Hours and Bathurst 12 Hours, plus the BMW M4 GT3 Team WRT Bathurst entry. TrueScale strengthens the modern endurance picture further with incoming Daytona 24 Hours Corvettes and contemporary GT machinery, complementing Spark’s breadth with high-impact centrepiece releases. BBR adds heavyweight Le Mans interest with its latest delivery featuring the Ferrari 499P #83 AF Corse, winner at Le Mans 2025, and the #51 Ferrari AF Corse entry that finished third overall — though availability on both is now extremely tight.
Touring Cars — Sutton’s Donington Authority
Spark’s Ford Focus from Donington Park captures a moment of absolute control in the 2025 BTCC season, with Ash Sutton delivering back-to-back victories on one of the championship’s most demanding circuits. The model conveys the Focus’s aggressive touring-car stance perfectly: the forward rake under braking, the tightly packed wheel arches and the squared-off aerodynamic elements that define modern BTCC machinery. Spark’s execution is particularly strong in the surface detailing — crisp panel lines, sharply defined vents and a cleanly applied NAPA Racing UK livery that balances bold colour with technical precision. The model represents a car at peak performance, one that combined mechanical grip, tyre management and racecraft to dominate races one and two at Donington. Limited to 500 pieces, it stands not just as a race winner, but as a visual marker of Sutton’s authority during the season.
Touring and rally collectors are well served beyond the feature model. Spark’s wider delivery includes further BTCC-winning machinery, notably Daniel De León’s BMW 330i from Brands Hatch 2025, alongside Ford Puma Rally1 entries from Monte Carlo and Japan. Looking ahead, Trofeu has confirmed a strong slate for later this month including Niki Lauda’s BMW 2800CS from the Nürburgring 6 Hours, an Alpine A110 from Ypres and a Fiat 131 Abarth from Sanremo. DSN 43 continues its specialist programme with upcoming 3D-printed releases covering classic Porsche and Opel rally subjects.
Classics, History & Road Cars — IMSA Muscle and Coachbuilt Elegance
Marsh Models March 83G Chevrolet transports collectors back to the raw, uncompromising world of early-1980s IMSA prototype racing. Representing the #16 Pennzoil entry at the Charlotte 500kms in 1984, the kit captures the blunt geometry of the ground-effect era: wide venturi tunnels, slab-sided bodywork and a purposeful mechanical stance designed for American endurance circuits. Marsh’s resin-and-metal construction preserves sharp edges and deep surfaces, lending the model the mass and presence these cars carried on track. The Pennzoil livery is applied with period restraint, allowing the architecture of the car to dominate visually. Even as a DNF, the model tells an honest endurance-racing story — of reliability limits, heat and mechanical stress — and rewards builders who appreciate IMSA history rendered with traditional craftsmanship.
This historic and road-car thread is strengthened by a wide range of complementary arrivals and announcements. Matrix delivers a true pre-war highlight with the Alfa Romeo 6C 2500S Berlinetta Touring (1939) in multiple colours, produced in limited numbers for serious collectors, while Esval opens its 2026 programme with fresh colour and year variations across classic Cisitalia, Fiat, Hispano-Suiza, Kaiser, Mercedes, Peerless and Willys subjects. KK Scale continues to build momentum in larger scales with the reissue of the 1:18 Ferrari 365GTC, new budget-friendly 1:12 Porsche 911RS (964) variants with opening panels, and the upcoming 1:12 Ferrari 250GT SWB due in March. On the kit side, JPS has announced new painted releases including the Le Mans 1955 MGA entries and David Piper’s Ferrari 250LM from Le Mans 1968, while Profil 24 prepares two major 1:24 Le Mans kits — the 1956-winning Ecurie Ecosse Jaguar D-Type and the 2025 Aston Martin Valkyrie. Completing the picture, the arrival of Autocourse 2025/2026 provides an essential seasonal reference for collectors who value both the models and the history behind them.
What’s Next
The forward pipeline is already shaping into a strong and varied programme across Formula 1, endurance, rally, road cars and kits. BBR leads upcoming Formula 1 releases with confirmation of Ferrari SF-25 Italian Grand Prix cars in 1:12 scale, wearing the retro livery celebrating 50 years since Niki Lauda’s 1975 World Championship, with both Charles Leclerc’s second-placed car and Lewis Hamilton’s sixth-placed entry set to be modelled. Spark continues to expand its helmet range with 1:5 scale Williams designs from the 2025 Mexican Grand Prix, while further endurance, GT and touring-car releases move steadily toward production.
KK Scale remains one of the busiest brands in the catalogue, with the return of the 1:18 Ferrari 365GTC, additional budget-friendly 1:12 Porsche 911RS (964) variants, and the upcoming 1:12 Ferrari 250GT SWB expected in March. In smaller scales, Tarmac Works, Pop Race and Mini GT continue to broaden their offerings across Le Mans, GT, touring cars and historic racing, while TrueScale and Top Speed build toward major Corvette, Lamborghini and Rally1 releases scheduled for the coming months.
A confident snapshot of the catalogue — with modern GT3 grids, touring-car winners, historic kits and road-car icons all lining up to carry 2026 forward at full pace.
