Arena are doing a thorough job working through the Alfa Romeo’s that were so competitive in the up to 2-litre category of Trans-Am racing in the late 1960s and early 1970s and here we see another subtly different body featuring slightly flared wheel arches. Horst Kwech prepared two cars for the 1971 season, one for himself and the other for Harry Theodoracopulous (no I can’t pronounce it either) and at Mid-Ohio they finished second and fourth in class respectively. Paint will be a simple bright orange single colour and placement of the few decals is clearly shown for both cars in the instructions.

About Arena
Accurate, well detailed resin kits with white metal ancillaries and excellent photo-etched details. Instructions sometimes slightly vague but normally adequate. Castings on some subjects can be a little rough but more recent releases have all been excellent. Due to the amount of etch, they can be quite fiddly to build but in experienced hands make excellent miniatures. Hand built models also available to order. Made in Italy.
