Railton Bonneville 1947 Cobb by Bizarre
With a car built a decade previously though much refined for post war attempts, John Cobb arrived at Bonneville in 1947 as the holder of the Land Speed Record but with a new target in mind, to break the 400mph barrier. He did so on the return run with a speed of 403mph but a slower first run meant that the aggregate time, and therefore the record, stood at 394.2 mph. Bizarre’s model captures the long, low lines of this huge machine very well and the finish is a satin silver to replicate the bare aluminium of the real machine. Decals are clearly printed and carefully placed, all adding up to make an excellent addition to any LSR collection.

About Bizarre
Very well finished resincast models with production by Spark. As the name suggests, originally the range picked up on some of the more unusual race cars from motoring history. More recently the range has been fully absorbed by Spark and is used for Speed Record and other more niche subjects. Made in China.
