Cooper Bristol T23 Ulster Trop53 Wharton by K & R Replicas
These three subjects could all really have been offered as options in the same kit as Ken Wharton’s Mk2 Cooper Bristol only differed in number between the events depicted, with full length exhausts and a yellow nosecone contrasting dark BRG bodywork. You’ll have to paint the two colours which will be simple enough and the clean castings should go together well. In the International Trophy Wharton was second in his heat and fifth in the final, in Ulster he finished second in his heat and final and in Holland he failed to finish.

About K & R Replicas
Well cast and easy to build, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
