Daimler Motorkutsche 1886 Blue 1:18 by Norev
Daimler Motorkutsche 1886
Unlike his future business partner Karl Benz’s patent Motorwagen (NOR183701), Gottlieb Daimler’s first car was a conversion of an existing horse-drawn carriage rather than a purpose built machine. It was the first four-wheel motor-car though and so is a very important piece of motoring history. Norev’s model is very well detailed with a two-speed belt drive visible underneath and plenty of plated parts to replicate the brass controls and a copper radiator.
